Governor of the Eastern Caribbean Central Bank, Timothy NJ Antoine is set to continue his 2022 round of Country Outreach Missions, with a stop in Grenada from 23 to 27 October.

Governor Antoine will commence his engagements by discussing key issues with the Prime Minister and Minister of Finance, Honourable Dickon Mitchell.

On 24 October, the ECCB Governor and his delegation will pay a courtesy call on Her Excellency Dame Cecile La Grenade before making a presentation to the Cabinet of Ministers on the ECCU’s Performance and Prospects.

Later that same day, the delegation will meet with Leader of the Opposition Dr the Rt Honourable Keith Mitchell.

On Wednesday, the ECCB team will meet with social partners inclusive of business, labour unions, churches and youth at the Radisson Resort.  There will also be separate meetings with bankers and media practitioners at the ECCB’s Agency Office.

As is now customary with the Country Outreach Missions, the tour will end with a live TV interview with the ECCB Governor, which will be streamed on the ECCB’s Facebook page and YouTube channel. During the broadcast, Governor Antoine will take questions from the audience. The public is encouraged to call in or send questions via social media platforms.  Check out the ECCB Connects Facebook Page to follow the Governor’s Visit to Grenada.

The ECCB’s delegation to Grenada includes: Chief Director (Policy) D Tracy Polius; Economist for Grenada in the Research, Statistics and Data Analytics Department Leon Bullen; and Senior Technical Assistant in the Corporate Relations Department, Marlon Bristol.

As part of his 2022 round of Country Outreach Missions, the Governor visited Anguilla in May, Montserrat in June, Saint Lucia in July and Saint Vincent and the Grenadines in September.
