Grenadian recording artist Zorina Andrews-Andall has been hired as a songwriter and vocalist by over 25 producers globally within the last year via Fiverr, an online platform to contract creative entrepreneurs.

She began freelancing online as a singer, songwriter, and background vocalist after losing 2 jobs and the ability to perform due to the pandemic.

“I was pregnant and lost my 2 part-time jobs at the beginning of 2020, which was quickly followed by a halt in performing live shows due to the pandemic. Recognising that I have talents that I can monetise, I decided that it was time to use them to make a living,” said Zorina. “Thankfully, I’ve now established myself as a Level 1 seller on Fiverr with 100% 5-star ratings from all my clients.”

Thanks to Fiverr, Zorina is the lead singer, and anonymous co-writer for the track Got the Music by European DJ group TNT (Technoboy’ N’ Tuneboy) and Darren Styles. Can you feel the baseline. It’s the rhythm of the music. Flowing on you. Taking Me Higher.

In the official music video, her commanding voice is heard with synthesisers echoing through an arena with 20,000 revellers at Reverze 2022 in Belgium as the DJ group debuted the song.

“I am excited, happy, and feeling everything all at once! After working on my music career for years, I finally feel like there is progress. To see the official music video for the song released today and knowing that the song is playing in Italy and Belgium has me lost for words. I am humbled,” commented Zorina.

Even though she started singing Gospel music as a child, Zorina’s versatility is unmatched. She penned and recorded songs in many genres of music, including R&B, Pop, Jazz, Soul, and the techno-influenced Hardstyle. She is truly making waves around the globe as her voice is on many tracks in the USA, Italy, France, United Kingdom, South Korea, Pakistan, Turkey, Israel, Peru, The Netherlands, Belgium, Germany, and Spain.

Meanwhile, the contralto/mezzo-soprano singer is gearing up for her song release, Fighter, an inspirational pop song she penned after surviving many trials. “I fought through a traumatic labour experience, job losses, and even depression when I was unable to further my studies at Berklee College of Music after being accepted at 20 years old. I wrote this song to inspire others to keep fighting no matter what the situation.”

Zorina plans on using the momentum of her recent successes to continue inspiring others through her music. Fighter will be released on 3 June 2022.

Zorina’s genre is fusion, with a mixture of styles from R&B/Soul, Afropop, Reggae, Dancehall, Reggaeton, Hip Hop, Rap, Hardstyle, and Pop. Her music aims to promote positivity, love and inspiration. She released her first single, Head up High, in 2017 and her first self-titled EP, Zorina in 2018.
