Prime Minister, Dr the Right Honourable Keith Mitchell has received assurances that Grenadians will continue to benefit from the country’s bilateral relations with Singapore.

During a recent courtesy call, Singapore’s Plenipotentiary Representative to the Caribbean Community, Karen Tan said about 70 Grenadians have benefitted from training courses in Singapore in the past. Tan said the provision of such training opportunities will continue.

The Prime Minister expressed Grenada’s appreciation for all opportunities that serve to advance the empowerment of persons. He said, “Capacity building is important to the national agenda. There are several areas of opportunity within the local economy and we must develop the human capacity to maximise the benefits to be derived from those opportunities.”

Dr Mitchell cited Singapore as a good model in terms of economic transformation and cited possible collaboration in the area of small business development.
