The Leader and members of the National Democratic Congress (NDC) extend our deepest condolences and prayers to the government and people of St Vincent and the Grenadines on the tragic events of Monday, 12 January 2015 in which several persons are reported to have lost their lives and several others seriously injured.
The party is profoundly saddened by the impact of this tragedy upon the families of the dead and injured and indeed upon the entire country, as the nation has been plunged into mourning.
Political Leader Sen. V. Nazim Burke has reached out to the Vincentian Leader, Dr Ralph Gonsalves to convey the party’s sentiments.
The NDC calls on all Grenadians to remember our neighbours during this time, as we join with them in mourning those who died and pray for the speedy recovery of the injured.
