The Grenada Tourism Authority (GTA) launches its Staycation Promotion 2014 which encourages leisure travel to Carriacou and Petite Martinique.
For the period 17 October to 15 December 2014, twenty five participating tourism partners offer Grenadians discounts for transportation, accommodation, meals, and excursions. After staying a minimum of two nights in Carriacou and/or Petite Martinique, persons are eligible for a free one-way ferry trip back to Grenada.
The Staycation Promotion of the GTA endeavours to increase inter-island travel to Carriacou and Petite Martinique during what is usually the off-peak season.
