Grenada is being promoted to approximately 50,000 boat enthusiasts at the 45th United States Sailboat Show from 9-13 October in Annapolis, Maryland.

Nautical Development Manager of the Grenada Tourism Authority (GTA), Nikoyan Roberts is joined by Chris Rundlett of Ltd Sailing, and Jacqueline and James Pascal of Horizon Yacht Charters.

“This grand boat show allows business to business, and business to consumer marketing of Pure Grenada – The Spice of the Caribbean. We have a booth set up as part of the Organisation of Eastern Caribbean States (OECS) collective, magazine advertisements and destination videos on show,” said Roberts.

The Grenadian delegation hopes to increase the number of yacht calls to the tri-island state. The marine and yachting sector contributed EC 130 million into the economy in 2012 and employed 912 persons.
