Four matches were played over the weekend in the Nixon’s Electrical Masters Football Competition.
On Saturday, Real Old Men and St. David’s United played to a 1–1 draw at the Belle Vue Playing Field in Group A.
The other match played in Group A featured Just Brands Big Parish Masters and Rock Steady Veterans which was played on Sunday at Queens Park. Big Parish Masters scored in the second half to win 1-0 and moved to second place in the Standings. Real Old Men leads the points table.
In Group B, on Saturday St. Paul’s edged past Veterans 1–0 in a highly competitive match over at Queens Park. Veterans however, are still leading in the Standings. The other match was played on Sunday night, Hurricanes played host to St. Patrick’s Masters at the Alston George Park. The ended 1–0 in favour of Hurricanes. All four (4) teams still have a chance of qualifying for the Semi Finals. Matches continue next weekend.
