On Saturday, 22 February, a group of Grenadian supporters and fans of the Grenadian artiste Mr Killa, who is a finalist in the Power Soca competition in Trinidad, will host an island wide motorcade.
The main purpose is to get the public’s assistance for Mr. Killa for his presentation at Trinidad & Tobago’s International Soca Monarch on “Fantastic Friday” (28 February 2014).
The motorcade is carded to start 9 am at Kirani James Boulevard, through Grand Anse, onward to the Eastern side of the island to Grenville, then to Sauteurs, after which the motorcade will take the Western route, through St. George’s ending at the Morne Rouge Playing field.
There will be a number of young ladies and men on the truck with specially marked collection boxes to receive donations as the motorcade moves through the various parishes. There will also be local artistes performing on the truck.
They will be grateful for any contribution the public is willing to give. It could be as small as $1.00.
The group is exploring all avenues for financial support to our Grenadian brothers who are out there representing Grenada in Trinidad.
The event is called Go Grenada Motorcade — Support Mr. Killa in his endeavours abroad and cultural representation in the world’s greatest soca show, Trinidad & Tobago’s International Soca Monarch 2014.
