In an effort to expand the relationship between Caribbean and New Zealand, Special Envoy to the Prime Minister of New Zealand, Sir Don McKinnon met with Prime Minister Dr. Keith Mitchell early Friday, July 12.
New Zealand is proposing assistance to Grenada and other Caribbean nations in areas such as the renewable energy sector and the provision of scholarship opportunities.
Prime Minister Mitchell welcomed the initiative and reiterated his support to Sir McKinnon, who is on a whirlwind Caribbean visit to meet with the leaders.
