The National Water and Sewerage Authority (Nawasa) advises the general public that the printing and postage of water bills for the month of March are delayed, due to changes needed to implement the new Environmental Levy on water bills which came into effect on 1 February 2023 and would be reflected in March 2023 bills.
Although there is a delay in bill printing, customers’ accounts will continue to be updated with the March charges on our Customer Information System.
Printing of March bills is expected to commence the last week in March 2023. In the interim, customers seeking bill balances are encouraged to use the following mediums:
- Nawasa’s Customer App which is updated daily and is available on the web via nawasa.gd or on the Apple App Store and Google Play Store.
- Nawasa’s WhatsApp Service: 459-6064, 405-5245, 405-9143 are available 8 am to 4 pm, Monday to Friday.
Nawasa advises that customers will receive March’s paper bills during the month of April 2023. The Authority apologizes for the inconveniences likely to be caused and thanks consumers for their understanding and patience.
