Donations of artwork are needed for an auction in aid of Patron of the Hearts, the organisation responsible for sponsoring heart surgery for many Grenadian children.
The Children Health Organization for Relief and Education Service (CHORES) is a not-for-profit, health organisation which provides volunteer health care professionals all willing to donate their time and expertise to assist with children’s health care on a global basis. CHORES was founded in 1987 and is based in Jacksonville, Florida.
In 1988 CHORES established its paediatric care relationship with Grenada, and has continued to provide care twice annually. A CHORES support group was formed in 1993 to raise funds and support CHORES projects.
The CHORES team is asking for donations of artwork (prints, originals, sculptures) for a Caribbean auction in aid of Patron of the Hearts, sponsors of heart surgery for many Grenadian children in Jacksonville, Florida.
Artists and persons willing to donate artwork, please deliver your donations to the office of Dr Beverly Nelson, on St John’s Street in Saint George’s, between 830am and 330pm before this Thursday, 22 May. Contact Dr Nelson for further information on 440-3916.
