What it does mean is that Mitchell is in a cleft stick situation if he opens the island up to the tourist buck he risks Covid taking off and if he doesn’t the country will go bankrupt. This is what happens when you have a poorly informed public who are called on every 4 years, given a green t shirt, told to vote and go away for another 4 years.
I know yesterday was a holiday but the trend in new vaccination numbers has been going down for the last month or so. Yesterday only 20 second doses & 13 first doses. This does not bode well for when the second wave strikes.
