More positive trends on New Cases, Hospitalizations and Positivity Rates and Deaths. We owe Kudos to those responsible, particularly the front-line health workers. On a more sobering note, Vaccination rates are stubbornly low. Particularly troubling, New Vaccinations are declining. Teasing the published Dashboard numbers a bit, since October 12, there have been 3217 vax shots administered, of which 2130 were “second” shots and only 1087 were “new” vaccinations. This means that a declining proportion of the population is choosing to be vaccinated. This effect would be expected if we were approaching “full” vax levels. But at approximately 29% vaccinated, we are nowhere near that. The current outbreak trends are hopeful and likely a result of the onerous restrictions we have been enduring. With 71% of the population still not immunized, we are at grave risk of a resurgence as restrictions start to be lifted. Our only true salvation from Covid will be to achieve herd immunity with 70-80% of the population immune. Please get vaccinated as soon as you can.

Exactly what I have been saying.

Why in the world are you people not even considering natural immunity which has been proven (91 studies: https://brownstone.org/articles/79-research-studies-affirm-naturally-acquired-immunity-to-covid-19-documented-linked-and-quoted/) to be equal or superior to immunity from the “vaccine”! Why are you trying to mislead people? Why are you spreading misinformation? For every confirmed case there are numerous cases unconfirmed because they were too mild or asymptomatic. These individuals are immune to COVID-19 (variants) and can be proven by a simple test. On average 28-31.4%% of all cases will be asymptomatic so who knows how many people in Grenada are already naturally immune. Remember inoculation–yes inoculation because this is not a vaccine–is not the only way to immunization.

You fail to mention that 3% of those getting Covid in Grenada will die. If you look at the figures 2.9% were unvaccinated only 0.1%were vaccinated, a massive difference due to vaccination.
