The Ministry of Finance, through the Covid-19 Economic Support Secretariat (CESS) has announced Wednesday, 20 October as the deadline for receipt of applications for the month of September under the various components of the Stimulus package.
All applications must be received by 4 pm.
The deadline pertains to the following components:
- Temporary Unemployment Benefit Assistance
- Income Support
- Payroll Support
- Small Business Grant
The public is advised that the deadline for submission of applications is the 20th of each month.
Applicants can continue to make their monthly applications for the period October to December 2021.
The Public is asked to note that this deadline is for receipt of applications to the programme only and that payments will continue to all eligible beneficiaries for the period for which applications have been lodged.
Any decision for continuation of the programme will be communicated.

Is this a joke? My wife applied for a GDB loan and was told she had to provide 100% collateral. That was all the bank wanted. They didn’t seem interested in any explanations about HOW she was proposing to pay by the loan….. These people can’t be serious!!! Urhhhh. Rubbish.
Make this Stimulus thing make sense. I applied for the payroll support for my small company. They told me to qualify I had to have hired someone since June. This makes no sense. Do we need to hire someone to sit around just to get the support? Why is the Government making things so hard for their fellow Grenadians.
