So sad to see Grenada’s self inflicted covid catastrophe – the vaccines have been on site waiting for arms ?? the arms did not show up due to mainly ‘stupid’ reasons – stupid … because the vaccines save lives, you have them and rejected by most ???? What will Grenada look like in 2022 ??

You get an appointment for the second shot. It is not up to the people. The number simply means that some weeks ago there were just 85 to get their first shot.

Grenadines please act responsible and save lives now. This will be the start off things to come. Over 300 reported positive yesterday, very hard to read right now.
Please go ad get vaccinated to reduce hospilation now. This not a joke and no home remedies will help you with this infectious virus.
Grenada has the DELTA VARIES that very infectious.
I am pleading with you all to get vaccinated now as one Grenadines to another please.
    Save lives now!!!@ vaccine centers.

14% of those who tested are positive. No recoveries yesterday? 534 1st doses but only 85 2nd doses, I know there is a time lag between the two but you would expect the 2nd dose numbers to have caught up by now. Are people being put off getting a second dose? They need to get it for maximum protection.

They won’t be safe until they take the 4th, 5th and 6th boosters.

I first came to Grenada since 1991. I loved the island and the friendly people. I have always tried to rent an apartment from local people rather than hotels I have been every year since, except the last 2 for obvious reasons.
For those who haven’t had the vaccine, I have some information from Worldometer

UK vaccination rate (whole population) 67%. 991 deaths in the last 7 days.
This is equivalent to 15 deaths per million people.
Grenada vaccination rate 18.6% 28 deaths in the last 7 days.
This is equivalent to 247 deaths per million people

The data doesn’t lie. Your government did well by locking down earyl, which gave the people time to get vaccinated, but unfortunately this did not happen
Grenada is now experiencing the horrors that most other countries went through 18 months ago,
Be wise and learn from what happened in other countries
