This is what you can expect with a lockdown, nobody can earn any money, there are many people here on the island with out any support.
No way to feed themselves if they can not work.
So what are they going to do, either steal to get money to feed themselves or to be put in gaol to get free board and lodging,,,,,,,,.
This virus was never going to be stopped from coming to this lovely island, whatever government or people did, as has been proved from the cases already here.
This virus still has no where near the fatalities of the annual influenza, that by the way also has a vaccine, but it does not stop 500,000 to 700,000 people still dying every year from influenza, these numbers vary depending on where you get the facts from.
Over 1 billion people get the flu, each year, even with a vaccine, (Only 2,460,000 cases today with Covid 19 by the WHO). Something is very wrong here, with the reaction to this disease.
So why no “Pandemic” warning from the WHO each year for the Flu ???…. panic is not the solution.
I appreciate the medical facilities in Grenada do not want to be overwhelmed, but this virus was never going to be stopped, as we have seen from todays news.
So do sensible things to stop it spreading, but life has to resume and we have to build antibodies to this virus, be exposed to it……or it will just keep coming back again and again.
People need to be able to earn money to feed themselves.
Lockdown will not stop Covid 19, building resistance will help.
Extended lockdown will kill more people than this disease and decimate the economy.
Use you brain, not social media’s dramatic and sometimes miss information posts that just generate paranoia.
Also, polititions, do not always make the best decisions for the people, they always are thinking of votes……think about that.
The best decisions are not the most popular choices.
    This is my veiw………

Experienced, I agree.. I had asked my spouse how come WHO does not say is pandemic when the influenza is here. It kills so much people every year. You dont hear in the media. All what you here is go get your vaccine which doesn’t work because every year it’s a different strain. So why can’t they make a vaccine for every strain though. They can’t. The media and politicians are putting so much fear in people heads its unbelievable. Political power, and playing with people brains is something else..

The flu vaccine is redeveloped every year based on the most common strains/version of the virus from the previous year. This current coronavirus is a new version of SARS that is more aggressive, faster acting, and deadlier. The united states has seen more deaths from this years coronavirus in 5 weeks than the normal flu kills in a 6 month period of time. And the current deaths from Cov2 have happened with a nationwide slowdown and social distancing. If you dont get a free flu vaccine every year, you are risking your health and uninformed. Seek education from health professionals.
