The Ministry of Infrastructure, Public Utilities, Civil Aviation and Transportation wishes to inform the public, residents, and commuters of temporary traffic restrictions at Seamoon Bridge, St Andrew, for a period of one week to facilitate essential repair works.
Commencing Monday, 29 June 2026, minor repair work will be undertaken on the bridge daily between 8 am and 4 pm. These temporary traffic restrictions are necessary to facilitate maintenance and repairs to the bridge structure.
During the repair period:
- No trucks or other heavy-duty vehicles will be permitted to use the bridge
- Light motor vehicles, including cars and buses, will be allowed to pass; however, delays are expected, and motorists are encouraged to exercise patience
Residents and road users within the affected areas will be accommodated as much as possible during this period.
All motorists are encouraged to proceed with caution, observe all temporary traffic control measures, and comply with the instructions of traffic personnel on site.
The Ministry of Infrastructure apologises for any inconvenience caused and appreciates the public’s cooperation and understanding as these necessary works are carried out.
