RESTAURANT MANAGER
Job Overview: The Restaurant Manager will be responsible for overseeing the operation of the restaurant at all levels including managing a hiring staff, training, ensuring the completion of daily activities, ordering supplies, provide excellent customer service etc.
Responsibilities:
- Coordinate daily Front of the House and Back of the House restaurant operations
- Deliver superior service and maximise customer satisfaction
- Respond efficiently and accurately to customer complaints
- Appraise staff performance and provide feedback to improve productivity
- Implement policies and protocols that will maintain future restaurant operations
- Train new and current employees on
proper customer service practices - Create detailed reports on weekly, monthly and annual revenues and expenses
Requirements:
- 2–3 years’ experience in fine dining
- Degree or diploma in hospitality or business management
- Food and Beverage certification
- Previous experience in a similar role
- Excellent attention to detail and organisational skills
- Knowledge of cost control
- Knowledge on wines
- Hands-on and team player demeanor
- Knowledge of POS systems
- Food handler certificate
- Valid police certificate of character
