  1. The Government of Grenada has received a financing grant from the Green Climate Fund managed by the “German Gesellschaft fuer Internationale Zusammenarbeit” toward the cost of the project “Improving the Climate Resilience of Grenada’s Water Supply System and Infrastructure” (G-CREWS) and intends to apply part of the proceeds toward payments under the contract for the Procurement of Pipelines
  2. The National Water and Sewerage Authority (NAWASA), on behalf of the Ministry of Finance, now invites sealed bids from eligible bidders for the procurement of PE-HD pipelines and accessories according to the specifications and quantities outlined in the Bidding Document
  3. Bidding will be conducted through the International Competitive Bidding procedures specified in the GCF/GIZ Procurement Regulations and is open to all eligible bidders as defined in these Procurement Regulations
  4. Interested, eligible bidders may obtain further information from NAWASA — [email protected] cc: [email protected] and request a copy of the bidding documents during office hours between 8:30 am and 4 pm for inspection
  5. The bidding document in English may be issued to interested Bidders upon a written application to the address below. The document will be sent by E-mail
  6. Eligible bidders must submit full qualification information with their bids, establishing their eligibility to bid and qualification to perform the contract if the bid is accepted

Qualification requirements include, inter alia:

    1. documents demonstrating the current soundness of the bidder’s financial position
    2. evidence of the bidder’s experience with at least two similar contracts within the last 3 years and
    3. evidence of ability to meet the specifications
  1. Bidding and qualification information are to be submitted in English on the prescribed forms inserted in the Bid Documents. Submissions that do not provide the information required or that do not demonstrate the prospective supplier’s ability to perform satisfactorily will not qualify and will not be considered for further evaluation
  2. The deadline for bid submission is 8 October 2024 at 2 pm, Atlantic Standard Time. All bids should be submitted in PDF format and password-protected to the following email address: [email protected] and [email protected]. The email’s subject line shall state “G-Crews – Bid for the Supply of PEHD Pipes and Equipment”. The body of the email shall clearly state the name of the Bidder and list the files attached. Qualification information only must be submitted simultaneously. The burden of proving receipt of the email will be on the applicant and will not be met solely by a read receipt or sent items report generated by the applicant’s computer. Late Bids will be rejected. All files submitted should be clearly labelled “Bid for the Procurement of G-CREWS PEHD Pipes and Equipment”. The name of the firm should also be clearly stated
  3. All bids must be protected with a password. All firms should submit their passwords to the email address stated above within one hour after the bid submission deadline
  4. All bids must be accompanied by a Bid-Securing Declaration
  5. Attention is drawn to the Procurement Regulations requiring the Borrower to disclose information on the successful bidder’s beneficial ownership as part of the Contract Award Notice, using the Beneficial Ownership Disclosure Form included in the bidding document
