Prime Minister Honourable Dickon Mitchell welcomed Premier of the Cayman Islands, Honourable Julianna O’Connor-Connolly today, 16 July at the Maurice Bishop International Airport.
The Premier and her delegation presented relief supplies and a monetary donation to aid in Grenada’s recovery efforts.
Following the presentation, Prime Minister Mitchell will travel to St Vincent and the Grenadines with Premier O’Connor-Connolly, to show solidarity with Prime Minister Dr the Hon. Ralph Gonsalves and the people of St Vincent and the Grenadines.
Prime Minister Mitchell is expected to return later this evening. While he is out of state, Honourable Dennis Cornwall, Minister for Finance, will serve as Prime Minister
