The Rotary Club of Grenada (RCG) hosted an Inter-City meeting along with The Rotary Club of Grenada East (RCGE), at its home base, Radisson Grenada Beach Resort, on Thursday, 6 June 2024, having District Governor Brian Glasgow as their honorary guest.
Also in attendance were members of the Presentation Brothers College Interact Club and the Rotaract East Club.
Collin Francis, President of RCG; Kisha Miller, President of RCGE and Javid Brizan, President of the Interact Club of Grenada presented reports on the projects and activities undertaken for the year 2023/2024. The reports highlighted several fundraising efforts, which were paramount to Rotary’s community values of giving back to the people of Grenada. Some of these projects executed in the last year included Food Hampers to vulnerable persons, dental projects aimed at improving dental health among young students, Vision Clinics (VOSH) where over 500 persons were given free eyecare consultations and glasses, construction of a walking trail at Quarantine Point to promote physical and mental health and wellness, and major renovations underway at the School for Special Education to secure a bright future to students with different abilities and help them become positive economic citizens.

DG Glasgow, a Vincentian with deep Grenadian roots, addressed the Clubs with great admiration and love for Grenada. He expressed his gratitude for the work and service executed in Grenada to help improve the lives of vulnerable persons, promote peace, and being a strong advocate for raising awareness on violence against women.
