Office of the Prime Minister

What does it take to get these people in government to understand that while Grenadian who live abroad are very much a part of the fabric of our nation, they chose to not live in Grenada? Therefore, the emphasis on using tax-payers resources to have in-person meetings with Grenadians abroad every other month is a colossal waste of our limited resources when we consider that there are many people in Grenada who do not know where their next meal is coming from.
The people in government boast everyday about their fondness for technology so why not organize these result-less meetings, if they think they are necessary, via. Team/Zoom, etc. instead of wasting our limited resources while at the same time begging China and other countries for help to fulfill the island’s basic and critical needs?
