To facilitate repairs to a broken water main, consumers served by the Concord Water System will experience an interruption in their water supply between 9 am and 6 pm on Thursday, 21 May 2026.

The Concord Water System serves the following areas:

  • Concord
  • Brooklyn
  • Woodford
  • Perseverance
  • Brizan
  • Happy Hill
  • Beausejour
  • Cherry Hill
  • Grand Mal
  • Fontenoy
  • River Road
  • The entire Town of St George

Affected consumers are encouraged to store an adequate supply of water for use during this period.

Every effort will be made to restore service within the scheduled timeframe. However, supply may return gradually as the system recharges, and customers in higher elevations may experience delays of up to two additional hours.

Customers are also advised that temporary discoloration or turbidity may occur as normal pressure returns and sediments within the pipelines become disturbed.

Nawasa apologises for any inconvenience caused and thanks customers for their patience and understanding as we continue working to improve service delivery.
