We are looking for a sales champion who shares our values to join our team as a Pharmacist. The ideal candidate will be responsible for dispensing medications, advising patients on the safe use of prescriptions, providing information on over-the-counter medications, manage inventory and provide excellent service to our customers.
Key Functions:
- Dispensing medications in an accurate and timely manner.
- Completing pharmacy operational requirements by organising and directing technicians’ workflow.
- Providing pharmacological information by answering questions and requests of health care professionals; counselling patients on drug therapies.
- Providing effective and efficient drug procurement and storage.
- Maintaining up-to-date and accurate records.
- Assisting with the company’s stock-taking process.
- Drive retail sales and patient retention.
- Provide direct supervision to pharmacy technicians and pharmacy support personnel, ensuring compliance in all areas.
Application Requirements:
- Bachelor of Science Degree or Associate Degree in Pharmacy.
- Minimum of 2 years experience in Pharmacy practice.
- Must be able to obtain registration with the St Lucia Pharmacy Council.
- A passion for service excellence and patient-centred care.
- Excellent interpersonal, oral and written communication skills.
- Knowledge of the Pharmacy Act and Regulations of St Lucia.
- Ability to supervise and lead a team to achieve the organisational goals.
- Ability to analyse information and make sound judgments.
- A general understanding of the pharmaceutical retail sector.
- Computer literate, proficient in Microsoft Word & Excel
