GASA commends inaugural SolidBase Invitational Swim Meet 2026

The Grenada Amateur Swimming Association (GASA) proudly congratulates all swimmers, coaches, officials, and clubs on the successful hosting and participation in the Inaugural SolidBase Invitational Swim Meet 2026, held from 15–17 May 2026, at the Good Hope Swimming Pool.

The meet served as the official GASA-approved qualifier for the upcoming Goodwill Championships and showcased the continued growth and development of competitive swimming in Grenada.

We are elated that there were 4 clubs represented in the competition:

  • Grenfin Swim Club
  • SolidBase Triathlon and Swimming Team
  • Sailfish Swim Club
  • Stingray Swim Club

Over the 3 days of competition, swimmers demonstrated determination, sportsmanship, and impressive performances as they competed for qualifying times and team honours.

GASA extends special congratulations to:

  • Grenfin Swim Club — Overall Female Champions
  • SolidBase Triathlon and Swimming Team — Overall Male Champions

The association also recognises the outstanding performances of the Age Group Champions:

6 & Under

  • Female: Kitania Scott — Grenfin Swim Club
  • Male: Nelson Wilson-Louison II — SolidBase Triathlon and Swimming Team

7–8

  • Female: Tyler Charles — Grenfin Swim Club
  • Male: Zion Doughlin — Grenfin Swim Club

9–10

  • Female: Halle Gooding — SolidBase Triathlon and Swimming Team
  • Male: Keshon Cobb — Grenfin Swim Club

11–12

  • Female: Angliner Jackson-Bain — SolidBase Triathlon and Swimming Team
  • Male: Mateo Thomas — SolidBase Triathlon and Swimming Team

13–14

  • Female: Eliza Rose Benjamin — Grenfin Swim Club
  • Male: Ethan Chu Fook — Sailfish Swim Club

15–17

  • Female: Maggie Watson — Grenfin Swim Club
  • Male: Jacob Collymore — Sailfish Swim Club

18 & Over

  • Female: Sara Dowden — Grenfin Swim Club
  • Male: Fernando Gabriel — SolidBase Triathlon and Swimming Team

GASA commends every athlete who participated and recognises the hard work and dedication of the coaches, parents, volunteers, and officials who contributed to the success of the event.

The association is encouraged by the steady progress of swimming in Grenada and looks forward to continued development, increased participation, and more opportunities for athletes to compete and excel both regionally and internationally.

GASA also applauds the SolidBase Triathlon and Swimming Team for successfully hosting their inaugural invitational meet and contributing to the advancement of aquatic sports in Grenada.
