The Grenada Bodybuilding, Weightlifting and Fitness Federation (GBBWF) welcomed home Team Grenada on Tuesday, 19 May, following another strong showing at the 2026 Roger Boyce Classic Semi Pro and IFBB Pro World Cup held in Barbados.

Led by President Cecil Mitchell and IFBB Pro Coach Vonne Francis, the team delivered impressive performances across several divisions in Men’s Physique, Classic Physique, and Bodybuilding against some of the world’s top athletes.

Highlighting the Amateur/Semi-Pro results was newcomer Daniel Louison, who captured 1st place in Men’s Physique Up to 179, in his debut appearance on the regional stage, while Rashid Bridgeman secured 2nd place in the same category.

In Men’s Physique Juniors, Javon Joseph placed 2nd and Rashid Bridgeman, 3rd. Joseph also earned 3rd place in Men’s Physique Up to 176. Kevon Frederick delivered strong performances in two divisions, placing 2nd in Classic Physique and 3rd in Men’s Bodybuilding.

In the Elite Pros division, Odel Cato advanced to the finals and finished among the Top 10 competitors in Men’s Physique during his professional debut after earning his IFBB Pro Card in 2025. Fellow Elite Pros Grantley Charles and Renaldo Parkes also made their debut appearances on the professional stage after attaining their Pro Cards in 2025 and competed competitively against some of the world’s top professionals.

The federation commended all athletes for their discipline, determination, and outstanding representation of Grenada on the regional stage. Special thanks are extended to the Ministry of Youth and Sports, Fit for Life, Mitchell’s Health and Wellness, along with supporters, fans, and well-wishers for their continued support of Team Grenada.
