Minister for Finance Honourable Dennis Cornwall will join his colleague Finance Ministers from the currency union for the 112th Meeting of the Monetary Council of the Eastern Caribbean Central Bank (ECCB) scheduled for Friday, 13 February 2026, at ECCB Headquarters in Basseterre, St Kitts and Nevis.
The meeting forms part of the council’s mandate to review and receive the Governor’s report on monetary and credit conditions within the Eastern Caribbean Currency Union (ECCU).
Minister Cornwall will be accompanied by Mike Sylvester, Permanent Secretary in the Ministry of Finance, as part of his official delegation.
The ECCB Monetary Council meets no fewer than twice each calendar year to receive the bank’s report on monetary and credit conditions and to provide guidance on monetary and credit policies across member states. During the meeting, council members will deliberate on key regional economic issues, including financial stability, credit trends, and policy measures to support sustainable economic growth within the Currency Union.
