The ideal candidate will have project management experience and strong skills in work-plan development and progress tracking. He or she will be responsible for coordinating assigned project-related activities, which will include the development and management of key business projects and resources. The project coordinator will also prepare and present updates regularly, ensuring that our goals and objectives are being achieved.
Objectives of this role
- Creating and maintaining project documentation
- Scheduling meetings and coordinating logistics with vendors, clients, and third-party collaborators
- Assisting with project planning and resource allocation
- Monitoring progress and updating project timelines
- Preparing reports for stakeholders
- Monitoring assignments and deadlines
- Supporting risk assessment and issue tracking
- Maintaining compliance with quality and process standards
Required skills and abilities
- Organisational Skills: High attention to detail and ability to multitask
- Communication: Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Tools: Familiarity with project management software (Gantt charts, scheduling tools)
- Knowledge: Understanding of project management methodologies
- 3 or more years of experience in project coordination
- Experience in coordinating teams and clients
- Proven success in a corporate setting, working with all levels of management
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent) in relevant field
- Professional certification, such as PMP (Project Management Professional)
