Grenada Investment Development Corporation (GIDC) invites qualified, proactive and people-oriented professionals to join its dynamic team by applying for the position of Senior Human Resource & Administrative Specialist.
Job summary:
The Specialist will be responsible for supporting the Corporation in achieving its vision as a results-driven organisation as follows:
- Application of best practice strategic human resource development and management principles
- Engagement and retention of a cadre of well-trained, productive and satisfied employees who are effectively aligned to the strategic goals of the corporation
- Formulation and execution of organisational transformation initiatives and processes
- Development and maintenance of comprehensive human resource policies and procedures
- Administration and management of Employee’s Leave database
- Preparation and management of the HR & Administrative budget
- Execution of various HR & Administrative tasks and duties
Preferred candidate profile:
- Experience: At least three (3) years’ experience in Human Resource Management
- Education: Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent) in Human Resource Management, Talent Management, Organisational Psychology, Industrial Relations, Business Management, or any equivalent combination of education, experience and training which provides the required knowledge and skills
- Technology: Competence and experience in using a range of software, including MS Office suite, Google Apps and Adobe, HRIS software
- Competencies: Recruitment and Onboarding; HR Metrics; Customer/Client Focus; Leave Management; Training & Development; Business Acumen
