The Grenada Hotel & Tourism Association (GHTA) proudly announces the launch of its Free Prostate Cancer Screening Programme throughout September in commemoration of Prostate Cancer Awareness Month.
In partnership with Allied Medical Services and sponsored by the Tourism Enhancement Fund, this life-saving initiative aims to encourage early detection and promote men’s health across the island.
Beginning in September, men aged 40 years and older are urged to take advantage of this free screening opportunity at convenient Allied Medical Laboratory clinics located across the island.
“Screening saves lives, and early detection is key to successfully treating prostate cancer,” said Arlene Friday, CEO of GHTA. “The GHTA is committed to supporting the health and well-being of our community, and we strongly encourage every eligible man to register and take advantage of this important initiative.”
How to participate:
To benefit from the programme, participants must be over 40 years of age and must pre-register with the GHTA by calling 444-1353 or emailing [email protected].
The GHTA extends its sincere appreciation to Allied Medical Services for its medical expertise and to the Tourism Enhancement Fund for its continued sponsorship, which makes this crucial initiative possible.
