The Traffic Department of the Royal Grenada Police Force (RGPF) notifies the general public, in particular motorists, that Upper Church Street will be closed to vehicular traffic from Thursday, 3 July to Monday, 7 July 2025.
This closure is necessary to facilitate the emergency route during the Test Match Cricket West Indies vs Australia, being held at the National Stadium from 9 am to 6 pm daily.
The following traffic arrangements will be in effect due to this closure:
- Vehicles travelling on Upper St John’s Street will not be allowed to turn left onto Church Street. All vehicles must turn right to access Lower Church Street or Market Hill
- Vehicles travelling on Lucas Street will not be allowed to turn right onto Upper Church Street. All vehicles must turn left onto Lower Church Street or access Market Hill
NO ENTRY:
The following roads will be closed to vehicular traffic:
- St John’s Street from its intersection with Grenville Street
- Church Street from its intersection with Lucas Street
