Grenada’s Senior Men’s National Team delivered a commanding 6-0 victory over The Bahamas on Wednesday evening at the Kirani James Athletics Stadium as the Second Round of the Concacaf Qualifiers for the FIFA World Cup 2026 resumed.

With this result, Grenada climbs to 4 points and moves into 3rd place in Group B as the team prepares to conclude its campaign against St Kitts and Nevis on Tuesday, 10 June at Warner Park Football Stadium in Basseterre.

Jermaine Francis opened the scoring in the 15th minute with a header inside the box, assisted by Regan Charles-Cook. Charles-Cook collected his second assist of the night with a setup for Darius Johnson, who netted the second goal in the 36th minute off a swift counterattack.

Keishean Francois added a third in the 58th minute with a precise left-footed strike near the goal line. Joshua Isaac (72’), Kayden Harrack (77’), and Saydrel Lewis (90’) completed the scoreline, with Grenada maintaining consistent offensive pressure throughout the match.

The victory reflects Grenada’s ongoing development and strong execution during this qualifying phase, keeping hopes alive for progression to the third and final round. Group winners and runners-up will advance.

GFA President Marlon Glean stated, “The players showed tactical awareness, discipline, and unity in this crucial fixture. This performance is a testament to the programme’s upward trajectory and the players’ commitment to representing Grenada on the world stage.”

The GFA extends its appreciation to all fans and stakeholders for their continued support. The energy from supporters in the main stand helped establish a strong home atmosphere that inspired the team’s dominant showing. The result stands as a significant milestone in Grenada’s World Cup qualification campaign.
