The Grenada Tourism Authority (GTA) is thrilled to announce that Delta Airlines will introduce a new daily non-stop service between Hartsfield-Jackson Atlanta International Airport and Grenada’s Maurice Bishop International Airport, commencing 20 December 2025.

Operating daily, the flight will depart Atlanta at 9:40 am and arrive in Grenada at 3:15 pm, with the return leg departing Grenada at 4:30 pm and arriving in Atlanta at 8:50 pm. Bookings for this highly anticipated route are now open.

This strategic route strengthens Grenada’s positioning and ongoing efforts to expand airlift and connectivity with key international markets. This flight will provide travellers with increased accessibility and convenience to the tri-island state.

From 9 March 2026, the flight schedule will be slightly adjusted, with arrival in Grenada at 2:15 pm and departure at 3:30 pm. Delta will operate the route using a Boeing 737-800 aircraft, known for its comfort, efficiency, and reliable service.

“We are thrilled to welcome Delta Airlines’ new daily service from Atlanta, which marks a significant milestone in our efforts to enhance air connectivity to the island,” said Petra Roach, CEO of the GTA. “Hartsfield-Jackson is the busiest airport in the USA and connects over 104 million passengers to more than 200 destinations worldwide, offering seamless access to Grenada. Beyond convenience, this service deepens our ties with Atlanta’s diverse community, home to over 6.2 million people, including a thriving Grenadian diaspora and a vibrant African American population. By restoring this link, we are reaffirming relationships, expanding possibilities, and ensuring more travellers can experience the magic of Grenada.”

“With Grenada as its latest new destination, Delta is expanding its offering in the Eastern Caribbean this winter,” said Paul Baldoni, Senior Vice President of Network Planning at Delta. “Delta will be the only US carrier with nonstop service to Grenada from Atlanta, making travel to the island significantly easier for customers across the entire United States through Delta’s far-reaching domestic network.”

Hon. Adrian Thomas, Minister for Tourism, Creative Economy and Culture, added, “As we get ready to welcome the Delta Airlines flight from Atlanta this December 2025, we celebrate a new era of connectivity and opportunity for Grenada’s tourism and business sector. This service enhances access to our beautiful island, making it even easier for travellers to experience our rich culture, warm hospitality, and stunning natural landscapes. We look forward to a successful partnership with Delta Airlines and the continued growth of our tourism industry.”

With accolades from top global travel publications, an expanding luxury hospitality sector, and a vibrant cultural scene, Grenada continues to attract visitors looking for an authentic and unforgettable island experience.
