The Ministry of Finance, Inland Revenue Division reminds all taxpayers that the deadline for filing and payment of the following taxes is Monday, 31 March 2025:
- Personal Income Tax
- Corporate Income Tax (for businesses with a fiscal year ending 31 December 2024)
- Annual Stamp Tax
Taxpayers who fail to meet the 31 March 2025 deadline will be subject to the following penalties:
- Late Filing Penalty:
- 5% of the tax owed, plus an additional 1% per month (or part thereof) for continued failure to file OR
- $500, plus an additional $100 per month (or part thereof), whichever is greater
- Late Payment Penalty:
- 20% of the tax owed, plus 1.5% interest compounded monthly
To avoid these penalties, taxpayers are strongly encouraged to file and pay on time.
Taxpayers can file and make payments conveniently through the following methods:
- Online Portal: https://my.gov.gd/
- IRD’s head office: W.E Julien Building on Young Street (Opposite Courts)
- All District Revenue Offices
To assist taxpayers with filing, officers from the Division will be available at various District Revenue Offices (DROs) on the following dates:
- St David — 27 & 31 March
- St Andrew — 27 & 28 March
- St Patrick — 28 & 31 March
- St Mark — 28 & 31 March
- St John — 28 & 31 March
