PART-TIME NIGHT AUDITOR
Job Overview: The Night Auditor will be responsible for ensuring the accuracy of financial transactions during the overnight shift. This position will verify the accuracy of guest accounts, reconcile daily revenue reports, and prepare daily reports for management.
Responsibilities:
- Verify the accuracy of guest accounts by reconciling charges and payments
- Reconcile daily revenue reports and resolve any discrepancies
- Prepare and distribute daily reports for management
- Maintain accurate and complete financial records for the hotel
- Provide excellent customer service to guests, including handling inquiries and complaints
- Assist with front desk operations, including checking guests in and out, as needed
- Perform other duties as assigned
Requirements:
- Associate Degree in Business Management/Accounting
- Previous experience in a similar role, preferably in the hospitality industry
- Excellent attention to detail and organisational skills
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work overnight shifts, weekends and public holidays
- Proficiency in computer software, such as Microsoft Office and hotel property management systems
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information
- Must have your own transportation
