The Rotary Club of Grenada is excited to announce the grand opening of its family-centred fundraiser Christmas at the Point on Sunday, 1 December 2024 from 5 pm.

The club’s signature fundraiser event will be held at Quarantine Point Recreational Park every Wednesday to Sunday from 5 pm to midnight.

The club promises an unforgettable evening that officially kicks off 5 weeks of magical holiday festivities under the theme “When the Sun Sets, the Wonder Begins.”

Opening Night will feature enhanced light displays, including the illuminated entrance tunnel, a stunning Enchanted Christmas Forest, and exciting new additions such as a walking path of lit arches and themed installations, offering a breathtaking and magical holiday experience for all ages.

What to expect on opening night:

  • The most-anticipated Monica Benoit Christman Park Light Display
  • Live Stage Entertainment: Prepare to be amazed by a lineup of exceptional performers bringing live music, dance, and energy to the stage
    • The Browne Family Band: Renowned for their harmonious performances and holiday flair
    • Whitney Dixon: A talented dancer from Carriacou, captivating audiences with her graceful moves
    • Sabrina Francis: One of Grenada’s finest voices, known for her soulful melodies
    • Kahmala Stephens: Bringing her unique style and charisma to the festivities
    • Andon: A Jamaican singing sensation delivering a powerful and memorable performance
    • Steve Theodore and Parang: Wrapping up the night with high-energy music and crowd favorites
  • Movies Under the Stars — a family favourite feature
  • Santa’s Grotto offering photos with the big man in red, S’mores station and craft activities for creating holiday keepsakes
  • Holiday Boutique where patrons can shop for unique meaningful, handcrafted for unique, handcrafted gifts from local artisans, including jewelry, crafts, and gourmet treats
  • Bar and Refreshments
  • Hamper Giveaways — patrons can win exciting holiday hampers packed with goodies!

The opening night of Christmas at The Point sets the stage for an entire season of holiday magic. From dazzling light displays to world-class entertainment, festive shopping, and family fun, this season’s favourite event is the ultimate holiday experience. Plus, all proceeds support the Rotary Club of Grenada’s ongoing community development projects.
