Icon Leadership Seminar and Coaching Services is thrilled to announce another opportunity for parents to enrol their secondary school children in Forms 1, 2 or 3 in the Communication & Social Etiquette Bootcamp for Teens.

Enrollment is now open for Saturday sessions in November, specifically on the 9th, 16th, 23rd, and 30th, from 1 pm to 4 pm.

The Bootcamp provides 3 hours per Saturday of highly interactive drills aimed at building students’ social skills, particularly in their interactions with peers and adults. The sessions also reinforce fundamental writing techniques drawn from curriculum designer Roslyn A Douglas’ 10 years of teaching experience and her observations of common writing errors. During the sessions, students actively engage in activities and receive gentle coaching on how to engage in small talk, maintain eye contact, improve their public speaking skills, and more.

The Bootcamp has received positive feedback from parents and participants alike, with many stating that the students not only learn but also have fun. Douglas emphasised the importance of interpersonal communication training among youth: “Interpersonal communication skills are essential for today’s youth. Our Bootcamp creates a safe space for children to master small talk, reinforce critical social etiquette skills, learn how to maintain eye contact, and gain confidence — all while correcting common writing errors.” This is a unique opportunity for your teens to improve their social and writing skills in a fun and supportive environment.

Registration for the November sessions is now open. Spaces are limited to just 10 participants per session, so parents are encouraged to register their teens early to secure a spot. Should the block become full, students would simply roll over into another month. Register here.
