The T A Marryshow Community College is thrilled to announce the appointment of Andrew Abraham as the new Principal of the college, effective 1 September 2024.

Andrew Abraham, a Grenadian, brings a wealth of expertise in Infrastructure Communication Technology Organisation (ICTO), and was instrumental in developing the Information Communication Technology (ICT) curriculum for the Caricom region. This curriculum is now offered at community colleges in the region.

Over the past 18 years, Abraham has held several pivotal roles at Clarence Fitzroy Bryant College in St Kitts, including Lecturer in Information Communication Technology, Dean of the Division of Technical Vocational Education and Management Studies (TVEMS), and most recently, President of the institution. During his tenure, Abraham spearheaded significant milestones, including implementing the Renewable Energy Project, IT network upgrades, renovating training spaces, and establishing the Caribbean Center of Excellence in Research, Innovation, and Workforce Training.

He holds a Master of Business Administration (MBA) in Management, a Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA) in Computer Information Systems, an Associate of Applied Science in Environmental Technology and a Certificate in Teaching Effectiveness from Humber College. He is a current PhD candidate in Creativity, Leadership, and Innovation for Change at the University of the Virgin Islands and a product of the Grenada National College.

Abraham’s international experience is a valuable asset to the institution. With his extensive experience in lecturing, curriculum development, institutional management, and project management — locally and internationally — Abraham is well-positioned to further elevate the institution’s esteemed reputation. His vision aligns with the college’s mission of providing accessible, high-quality education that equips students for success in an ever-evolving job market.

TAMCC looks forward to the positive transformations and achievements Abraham will bring to the institution and is excited to welcome him into the college community.
