The Grenada Council for Technical and Vocational Education and Training (GCTVET) is inviting applications from suitably qualified individuals to fill the post of Monitoring and Evaluation Officer of the Grenada National Training Agency (GNTA).
Job Objective
Reporting to the Chief Executive Officer and working closely with other members of the GNTA staff, this post will support monitoring and evaluation across all programme areas and the development and implementation of the organisation’s monitoring and evaluation strategy. This will include process and tools development, data collection, processing, analysis, storage and reporting.
Responsibilities include:
- Provide leadership in the design and implementation of a monitoring and evaluation system that measures the effectiveness of the GNTA’s initiatives
- Contribute to the technical design of monitoring and evaluation (M&E) methodologies
- Develop procedures and tools for measuring performance, and for assessing quality of the outputs of programmes and activities
- Ensure M&E needs are incorporated in the design and the day-to-day operations of the National Qualifications Registry and the Management Information System
- Contribute to data collection, storage and analysis to ensure the accuracy of data collection and quality of data processing and reporting
- Design and conduct research to identify the impact of training, measure the efficiency and effectiveness of services provided by the GNTA and provide recommendations for improvement
- Provide advice to staff and stakeholders on GNTA decisions such as the identification of priorities, needs and indicators; the design, set up and use of M&E systems to collect data; and the design of TVET/Workforce Development studies
- Knowledge Management — development of systematisation methods and/or identify events/forums to work with different stakeholders for next step or scaling-up approaches
- Provide timely inputs, information and statistics for quarterly, annual and other reports
- Identify opportunities to present M&E findings and data to colleagues to contribute to decision-making and strategic planning processes as appropriate
Minimum Qualifications:
- Undergraduate degree in Social Sciences, Education, Information Management, Monitoring and Evaluation or equivalent professional experience
- Training in social science research methods relevant to monitoring and evaluation, both quantitative and qualitative
