Grenada Planned Parenthood Association (GPPA) is thrilled to announce the appointment of Amicah James as our new Executive Director.
James brings a wealth of experience, qualifications, and passion for sexual and reproductive health to this vital role. James has 15 plus years of experience working in the field of sexual and reproductive health, with a proven track record as a Full Spectrum Doula, specialising in Choice and Loss, ChildBirth and Education, Bereavement, Pre and Postnatal support and Postnatal Counselling.
She holds a BSc in Psychology and an MBA from The University of Maryland, and possesses a strong understanding of the unique challenges and opportunities related to sexual and reproductive health in Grenada. James is deeply committed to ensuring that all Grenadians have access to comprehensive, high-quality sexual and reproductive healthcare services.
In her new role, James is excited to expand access to essential services, advocate pre and postnatal support, and build strong partnerships within the community.
We are confident that James’ leadership will be instrumental in advancing GPPA’s mission of promoting sexual health and well-being in Grenada.
