The National Insurance Board (NIB) requests the services of a Project Manager to coordinate the necessary activities related to the design and construction of a Commercial Complex. Payment by the NIB will be made in all respects, to the terms and conditions of the Contract Agreement.
The project is being implemented by the National Insurance Board.
The NIB now invites proposals from eligible individual consultants for the provision of project management services relating to the design, supervision, and construction of a Commercial Complex.
OBJECTIVES OF THE ASSIGNMENT
The objective of the assignment is to acquire the services of a qualified Project Manager for the NIB who will be responsible for the overall direction, coordination, execution, control, and successful implementation of the design and construction of the Commercial Complex project implementation activities.
The NIB is therefore seeking to contract an experienced person/entity with a proven project management track record in the design and construction sector defined in the required qualifications/competencies below who will serve as Project Manager (PM) through the submission of technical and financial proposals.
Eligible consultants will be required to submit full qualification information with their bids establishing their eligibility to bid and qualification to perform the contract if their proposal is accepted. Technical and financial proposals are to be submitted together in English. Submissions that do not provide the information required, or do not demonstrate the prospective consultant’s ability to perform satisfactorily, will not qualify and will not be considered for further evaluation.

Proposers shall submit 5 original executed copies. All proposals shall be hand delivered and must be submitted no later than 2 pm Atlantic Standard Time on 28 March 2024, in sealed envelopes marked “Proposal for Project Manager” and addressed to:

The opening of proposals will take place virtually one hour after the deadline for submission at 3 pm Atlantic Standard Time in the presence of the bidder’s representatives who choose to attend. The meeting link for the bid opening will be sent to bidders one (1) week before the deadline for submission.
CONTRACT AWARD
- The National Insurance Board does not bind itself to accept the lowest-priced tender
- The NIB reserves the right to annul the tender process and reject any or all tenders at any time prior to the execution of the Contract, without thereby incurring any liability to the affected Tenderer(s) on the grounds for the actions of the NIB
- Subject to the evaluation of the tenders, the NIB will award the Contract to the Tenderer whose tender has been determined to be substantially responsive. This Tenderer shall be invited for further negotiations
- Prior to the expiration of the bid validity period, the NIB will notify the Tenderers in writing as to whether the NIB is considering their tender and wishes to negotiate details
