The Mexican Government in collaboration with the Government of Grenada extends an invitation to Grenadian nationals to apply for bachelor’s, master’s, doctoral programmes and research for 2023.Â
Eligibility:
- MUST be a Grenadian citizen
- MUST be in good physical and mental health and free of contagious diseases
- MUST be able to communicate in written and oral Spanish, as courses will be taught in the Spanish language ONLY

Requirements:
- Application registration (Login – SIGCA (sre.gob.mx)
- Signed declaration letter by the applicant (Format 1)
- Curriculum Vitae filled out using a word processor – maximum of 4 (Four) pages, signed by the applicant (Format 2)
- Certified copy of a valid passport bio-data page
- Copy of a medical certificate issued by a public or private healthcare institution, dated no more than 3 months before the application submission, indicating that the applicant is in good health
- Certified copies of ALL Academic Certificates
- Transcript for most recent school attended
- Certified Copy of Birth Certificate
- Two (2) reference letters
Bachelor’s & Master’s Degree:Â
- Acceptance letter from the receiving Mexican University not exceeding 60 calendar days from the date of issuance
- Certified copy of most recent degree (for master’s level)
Research level:
- Acceptance letter (must indicate that the tutoring will be provided for the development of the research; the name of the person who will advise the applicant and the name of the research to be conducted)
- Certified copy of most recent degree
Value of the Award:
- Full Tuition
- One-way airline ticket (upon completion of study)
- Monthly stipend (bachelor’s & master’s programmes US$736, doctoral programme US$920)
- Health Insurance (commences AFTER 7 months, see Annex 2)
NB:Â
- The documents must be legible
- ALL documents requested in this section must be attached to the application in the system before the deadline
- The applicant MUST submit the documentation in PDF format in color (maximum size 1.8 MB)
- Documents requiring a signature, must match signature on the applicant’s passport and be signed in blue ink
- ALL documents submitted must be translated (English/Spanish) on a separate sheet and signed by the applicant
- Successful applicants are expected to cover expenses for at least the first 60 days of the scholarship period
- All documents must be uploaded through the Academic Co-operation Management System (SICCA) on or before 21 July 2023
