Grenada’s Citizenship by Investment (CBI) Programme has contributed significantly to the growth of Grenada’s economy and has received international recognition.
The inward investment it promotes has led to the creation of sustainable long-term employment, specialist training, and the general broadening of skills for numerous Grenadians.
Applications are invited from suitably qualified candidates to join CBI’s expanding team in the position of Risk and Compliance Manager.
Core responsibilities include:
- Demonstrate an understanding and remain informed of all laws and regulations governing the CBI Programme
- Ensure the business processes and transactions of the CBI Unit are compliant with all laws, regulations, internal policies, and procedures
- Ensure the processing of applications and the activities of Developers and Agents are in compliance with the CBI Act, as well as other relevant regulations
- Recommend, develop, implement and/or update compliance-related policies, programmes, procedures, and standards, ensuring compliance with all relevant regulations and the elimination of loopholes
- Oversee the design, development, and implementation of a risk assessment framework for the CBI Unit
- Provide advice, guidance, insights, and training to staff regarding new and emerging compliance issues gleaned from research of global issues and interpretation of changes in regulations
- Act as a subject matter expert and reference point, advising executive management of any likely implications of changes to internal, regional, and international policies and of future business strategies
- Develop and maintain harmonious relationships with Agents and key stakeholders and provide advice and clarification on the laws and regulations governing Grenada’s CBI Programme
- Work along with key stakeholders to review and recommend changes to the Grenada CBI Act to ensure it remains relevant and up to date with changing global practices and requirements
The preferred mix of qualifications, experience and competencies include:
- Master’s degree in Risk Management, Finance, Banking, or related field
- ACAMS or other related professional certification is required
- At least 5) years’ experience in a compliance, risk, or regulatory in a managerial role
- Experience in Migration Law or organisations related to investment migration would be an asset
