It’s always great to hear about initiatives that support youth development and provide opportunities for creative expression. The Ministry of Carriacou and Petite Martinique Affairs and Local Government should be commended for investing in the Drum Corps Unit, which can benefit many young people on the island.
The fact that 20 students have already registered to receive training and be part of the Drum Corps is a testament to the high level of interest and potential that exists within the community. With the support of skilled tutors like Cordel Halley and Technical Officer Kirk Phillip, these young people will have the chance to develop their musical skills and contribute to various events, including the annual independence activities.
