The Ministry of Climate Resilience, The Environment and Renewable Energy invites youths to participate in the art competition #Betterclimate4MyHealth campaign of the Caribbean Community Climate Change Centre (5Cs).
This campaign is an urgent call to action for young people ages 9-30, across the 16 CARIFORUM countries to advocate for immediate action to address health-related issues caused by the global climate crisis.
It will use evidence and stories of young people to encourage youth in general to be agents for climate and health actions.
Submissions can be art pieces and messaging in the form of a drawing, painting, sign, written message, or banner relating to any aspect of climate change and health that one is most passionate about.
The prizes are 1st place US$500, 2nd place US$300, and 3rd place US$200.
All entries must be submitted to [email protected] by 31 March 2023 by 5 pm EST.
