Greetings in the Precious Name of Our Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ.
The Alliance of Evangelical Churches of Grenada issues congratulations to all successful candidates in the 2022 National General Elections and further congratulates Dickon Mitchell and the National Democratic Congress on their victory at the polls.
We recognise the providence of our Lord God throughout the electoral process and extend our appreciation foremostly to Him and furtherso, to the citizens of Grenada for a safe and incident-free process on 23 June. In like manner, we also thank Dr the Hon. Keith Mitchell and his team for their years of service in leadership of the country.
As we transition out of the electoral process and into new government administration, the Alliance invites all believers to remain steadfast in prayer for the continued peace and sobriety of our nation. Let us all continue to rest our faith and trust in the Lord for the guidance of our duly elected leaders as they accept the responsibility of service to this nation and its people.
May the Lord’s wisdom, protection and preservation continue to rest upon Grenada, Carriacou and Petite Martinique and may we, as a people, work together for the benefit of our country.
