Titan Property Awards & International Real Estate has announced its winners of the Titan Property Awards 2021, and Hartman Education Enterprise Ltd has won awards in the following categories:

  1. Architecture – Conceptual
  2. Architecture – Urban Design
  3. Property Development

Titan Property Awards gives professionals from the industry a stage that shines the spotlight on their work for both country and environment The work highlights the best of both worlds: the ingenuity of the designers, and the efforts of the other professionals in this highly modernised industry.

Hartman University Town and Resort

The jury panel consists of leading real estate professionals, whose talents and contributions to both nation and environment are instrumental to building a well-constructed community. These individuals pave the way towards modern construction and architecture, being an integral part of a new modernised society. The submissions are made online and there is the option for electing multiple categories for review. The submissions are assessed anonymously without comparison to other entries in the same category.

Hartman University Town and Resort

The project located at Mt Hartman on the southern tip of the island will include a University Campus, Student Village, Medical Centre, Commercial Areas, Resort, and Wellness Villas. It is being developed by Hartman Education Enterprise Ltd, an indirect wholly-owned subsidiary of a publicly listed company. The development is a Citizenship by Investment (CBI) project.

Titans Property Awards jury cited why Hartman Enterprise was chosen for the Awards: “Through proactive ecological management and development, the project will turn the wetlands into a treasure trove, creating an educational and cultural centre that embodies the highest standards of sustainable design. The project will aim to improve and protect the environment and promote socially integrated and economically sustainable development. Natural and environmentally friendly hydro and light energy resources will be used to minimise waste and carbon emissions. Infrastructure, transportation, management, and support facilities will be integrated to reduce environmental impacts, preserve natural resources and set the standard for sustainable development in Grenada as a best practice.”

Hartman University Town and Resort

Hartman Education Enterprise Ltd is proud to develop a prime first-class, international, educational, eco-friendly, commercially viable, and sustainable product in this very warm embracing, and developing landscape of Grenada.

When we speak of “landscape of Grenada”, we refer to the natural beauty of the island, which matches the spirit of its people, and the progressive business climate by State agencies namely, Grenada Investment Development Corporation (GIDC), Customs and Excise, Government Ministries and our primary point of contact, the office of the CBI. We are fully committed to compliance of best practices outlined, and agreed to in our engagement with the Government of Grenada and its people.

Hartman University Town and Resort

Our experience to date has been both positive and progressive on all levels.

I left a small coastal town in Maine, USA. It was changing and becoming north Boston. Sold the house. The area is definitely not wasteland. The dove are supposed to be protected. It is a direct assault on their home area. The top of the hill closest to the harbor appears more as a massive aircraft ship. If they build this size, they better plan on a lot more roads, shopping for the envisioned living space. The Island has about 100,000 living on it now. Imagine an extra 100,000 people.

What an eyesore that will be. Thank goodness nobody ever wants to ‘develope’ western parishes like St Johns.
For the time being we are safe.
Why don’t Hartman Education Enterprise Ltd work in partnership with the ministries responsible for environmental/sustainability, education, agriculture and health instead of building this environmentally mismatched eyesore. Use the money to improve the current lives of the Grenadian people they so care about. However, on reading the article it sound very PR…Will Grenadians really benefit from this project? I doubt it

This is point bland ridiculous. Never mind any ridiculous claims of conserving the home location of our national bird…About to be listed along side the Dodo. This volume of construction MUST totally change traffic flow for that southern sector making it a nightmare to traverse. This is an unseemly project, as ridiculous in it’s conception at the Levera debacle. Why do we want to destroy the character of the island to make it a mini Miami? this is like the raping of Spains coastline, turning it from fishing villages into wall to wall hotels. A characterless concrete mess..

Am a designer and have never heard of these”awards”. The designs look like they have landed from Mars: completely out of context and unsuited to the site.
Also sounds like a blatant PR stunt whose main feature is the self-congratulations from the developers themselves. Urrrrrh. Lord help us!!!

Poor grenada only getting destroyed for the wrong reasons.

What rubbish language is this announcement. Conceptually and grammatically incompetent. Couldn’t be a translation from Chinese could it?

  7. Jen Jen says:

My God! What a horrifying development. Worse than the first proposal. Your flipping Grenada Dove dead for sure..

WHY WHY WHY do you think this ugly concrete jungle is an asset or appealing? It makes me cry to see how much of the environment is being destroyed by foreigners. I don’t want things like this on Grenada. I want the charming Caribbean Grenada I fell on love with that still had rainforest. This is heartbreaking.

Top award. Let’s look at the previous winners. Oh. It’s the 1st ever. Only $200 to enter per category

And somehow, creating 50 odd multi storey buildings larger than any other in Grenada in a “undeveloped wasteland”* will greatly benefit Grenada.

Don’t worry, it’ll never be built. in about three years it will be rebranded as something else, maybe a theme park.
