ABOUT THE ECPCGC
6 member states of the Eastern Caribbean Currency Union have joined together to establish the Eastern Caribbean Partial Credit Guarantee Corporation (ECPCGC) under the guidance of the World Bank. 5 of the countries are borrowing money from the WorldBank to capitalize the ECPCGC. The sixth nation is using existing funds to contribute to the USD 12 million capitalisation of the scheme. The ECPCGC headquarters will be in Basseterre, Saint Kitts. The Board of Directors of the ECPCGC is seeking two initial employees to build the scheme from the ground up. The ideal candidates should have familiarity with the operations of a guarantee scheme and experience in a banking environment in the Caribbean.
