42-year-old Peterson Mitchell of Marian, St George appeared at the St George’s Magistrate’s Court, today Wednesday, 3 May, 2017, on a charge of non-capital murder. He has been remanded to custody.
Mitchell is alleged to have caused the death of Peter Lewis, 61 years, of Grand Anse, St George.
Lewis died on 26 April from injuries sustained following an altercation between himself and the accused. An autopsy report stated that he died as a result of blunt force trauma to the head.
Mitchell will reappear in Court on 25 May, 2017.
