The Staff of the Confucius Classroom, T A Marryshow Community College (TAMCC), and the Embassy of the People’s Republic of China to Grenada, invite the public to the 3rd Chinese Bridge Competition, Grenada which takes place today, Thursday 20 April 2017, from 2:30 pm to 4:30 pm, in the Teacher Education Hall at TAMCC.
During the competition, Chinese Language students at TAMCC will compete by delivering speeches and talent in Chinese, as well as express themselves in Chinese language and culture. The top 2 competitors will represent Grenada in the international competition to take place later this year in China.
The Chinese Proficiency Competition or Chinese Bridge provides a stage for young Chinese language learners to display their language proficiency; to create a platform for mutual learning and exchange; to stimulate students’ Chinese learning interest and enthusiasm; and to promote Chinese language and the understanding of Chinese culture.
Today is Chinese Language Day, as marked by the United Nations.
